          This may sound funny but I didn't know the American artiste Young M.A is a girl!!! I knew there was something off about "her" the first time I saw the video of her breakout hit. "ooouuu".
          I made this shocking discovery after I listened to another track titled #quietstorm where I heard the line "my momma wondered why I  never wore a skirt or wore a purse, I tried to be girlie once FORTUNATELY it didn't work". She is also a lesbian

              She was born Katorah Kasanova Marrero, born and raised in Brooklyn but she's of Puerto Rican and Jamaican descent. The 24 year old rapper doesn't seem to be interested in money as she is "self-signed" and has turned down offers from top record labels like Epic Records, Atlantic and RCA and has even turned down a role from Empire. She is inspired by Nicki Minaj and became interested in music after listening to 50 cent's #manymen.
